Location: Huntersville, NC 28078  
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: 2-2-3 Schedule | Days, 6:00am – 6:00pm | Nights, 6:00pm – 6:00am
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Application Period: This position will remain open until filled

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator for a manufacturing facility in Huntersville, NC. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to support efficient operations, product quality, and workplace safety. The ideal candidate will have prior machine operating experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety standards
• Load raw materials and remove finished products from production lines
• Inspect products for quality assurance and report any defects or production issues
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
• Work and train with Maintenance to be able to perform repairs and assist in machine change overs    
• Performing preventative maintenance on machines as required  
• Adhering to all company policies including but not limited to: GMP, PPE, Food Safety, Safety, Gluten Free, Sanitation, etc.    

Requirements:  

• Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery preferred  
• Great attention to detail  
• Basic math and reading comprehension  
• Good overall knowledge of safety, sanitation, manufacturing operations and quality
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English  
• Ability to use basic technology (Will be utilizing Outlook, Safefood, etc.)
• Ability to lift and/or move weight up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to work standing, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms
