The company is headquartered in Houston, Texas.We’re on the lookout for passionate self‑starters who thrive in fast‑moving, collaborative, and innovative environments.The selected candidate will be eligible for company benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Free Parking.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Operational Accounting/Volume ManagementManage shipper interest, shipper volume allocations in coordination with pipeline schedulers, shippers, operators, producers and pipeline companiesManage retroactive adjustments to prior nominations and/or ticketsAssist in gathering and analyzing measurement data collected to process system inventory, loss/gains and trendsRevenue ManagementGenerate and distribute shipper statements and invoicesInitiate business close for pipeline systemsVerify oracle entries generated by the pipeline computer system via invoicing, and supplemental schedulesReconcile outstanding shipper accounts receivable balances and follow-up for collectionAnalyze revenue and volume actual data vs. guidanceCustomer ManagementPro-actively investigate and resolve ticket, volume and revenue problems during the month before closeInteract with customers to resolve issues and concernsDevelop and maintain good working relations with other departments, pipeline schedulers, shippers, operators, producers and pipeline companiesFinancial Reporting ManagementDevelop and/or update financial, governmental, and quarterly/annual statistical reports to meet the business requirementsGenerate supporting files for FERC reporting quarterly and annuallyDevelop and/or update monthly reporting schedules for financial reporting (10K-Q) and internal use (monthly meeting materials)Special ProjectsWorking with various departments, as needed, to execute special projectsMonitoring action items and project deliverables in conjunction with stated deadlinesTechnical accounting interpretation and documentation as neededAssistance in accounting standard implementation projectsKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Must be able to multitask and meet deadlinesMust be a team player and responsible individual who takes initiative/ownership in all areas of workAbility to work extended work hours as neededExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAdvanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel required​EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:· Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance or Accounting required· Experience in pipeline or energy industry preferred· Knowledge of computer systems and programs such as Oracle, Adobe, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Visio, and VMACS pipeline computer system experience is a plus· Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks· Compliance with the Company’s drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testing.· This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship.
