Staffing CoordinatorThe Staffing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the scheduling needs of nursing staff in all inpatient programs in conjunction with Program Coordinators. This individual coordinates the assignment of pool and float staff to supplement program schedule vacancies and staffing needs. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for managing day to day staffing needs through ShiftHound. This individual performs responsibilities in accordance with established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Horsham Clinic.Job Responsibilities:Opens and closes schedules, provides open shift availability to team.Clearly communicates with staff on opening/closing of graphs.Reviews and revises scheduling guidelines in conjunction with nursing leadership according to department policies and hospital standards.Develops unit schedule for Float Pool, Nurse, and Mental Health Tech staff.Adheres to the unit and department guidelines for scheduling.Corresponds with staff regarding the schedule and requests.Creates and maintains summer vacation calendar.Monitors holiday wish lists/switches.Monitors staff schedules including being the contact person for requesting of days off, vacations and switches.Regularly participates in hospital wide-scheduler meetings.Partners with leadership on daily operations of the schedule.EEO Statement: All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
