Position: Welders
Pay: $20.00/hour
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Location: University Park, IL
- Perform complete cutting and welding operations for repair and fabrication projects
- Conduct MIG, Stick, and Arc welding; TIG/Heliarc (Aluminum) experience preferred
- Read blueprints and shop drawings to assemble and form pieces
- Use all press, hand, and power tools effectively
- Pass welding tests to demonstrate skills
- Experience with MIG, Stick, and Arc welding required
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Able to perform repetitive tasks in a physically demanding environment
- Capable of lifting up to 49 lbs frequently
- Comfortable working in high noise, vibration, and elevated areas
- Arc Welding, Stick, MIG welding expertise
- Blueprint reading and measurement skills (calipers, rulers)
- Basic math and measurement aptitude
- Knowledge of fabrication and layout
- Ability to work in high-stress, physically active situations
