Strategic Account Manager - Kansas City

Abbott seeks a Strategic Account Manager for its Kansas City region to develop and execute health system strategies for cancer diagnostics solutions. This field-based role focuses on building partnerships with integrated delivery networks and healthcare institutions to expand patient access and improve clinical decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Analyze integrated delivery networks and patient care pathways to identify clinical and access improvement opportunities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for health systems in partnership with physicians and administrators
- Build relationships with healthcare leaders, clinicians, and policy makers to uncover needs and drive adoption
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, medical affairs, and market access teams on strategy implementation
- Leverage market data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and communicate insights across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business management, science, or related field
- 6+ years of sales and/or marketing experience in healthcare (diagnostics, surgical, or pharmaceutical)
- 2+ years of experience navigating or selling to IDNs, health systems, or academic institutions
- Valid driver's license with no suspensions or revocations
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Compensation: $99,300–$198,700 base
