Work Environment This full-time position is primarily focused on providing onsite services in diverse home settings across Orlando. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, utilizing varied techniques such as therapeutic exercises, stretching, manual therapy, and advanced modalities. Regularly track and document the progress of each patient, ensuring that treatment plans are updated as necessary. Demonstrate strong communication skills by providing education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on effective rehabilitation practices. Recommend and fit assistive devices to enhance patients' self-care abilities and mobility, ensuring they have the resources needed for independence. Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and participating in relevant professional networks. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work closely with a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Qualifications Currently holds or is eligible for a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT). A valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida. A flexible approach to patient care with a focus on individualized treatment methodologies. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of experience in a rehabilitation setting is required. Experience with home health care or outpatient physical therapy practices is advantageous. Familiarity with current physical therapy practices and innovations in treatment methods.
