About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer to join its executive leadership team. The CNO will be responsible for the daily operations of the hospital, with a strong focus on patient care services, and will oversee nursing and all clinical departments. This role requires the CNO to provide the necessary leadership, management, and vision to ensure the hospital's operational controls, administrative procedures, and systems are in place to support the organization's growth, financial strength, and operating efficiency. The CNO will also be involved in the development and implementation of the organization's mission, vision, and values, and will participate in the development of long-range strategic plans. The successful candidate must have a Master's degree or equivalent in nursing leadership, be a currently registered nurse in the State of Illinois, and have a minimum of 8-10 years' related nursing and hospital operations experience, with at least 8-10 years in a senior nursing leadership role. Essential duties include determining clinical direction for patient care, ensuring program and regulatory survey compliance, and evaluating the competency of staff. The CNO will also be involved in process improvement, community outreach, and grant opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organizational management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
