About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Programs Officer (CPO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's evolution and impact. The CPO will be responsible for leading the vision, strategy, and performance of the global programs portfolio, with a focus on advancing scientific leadership, strengthening sustainable health systems, and creating lasting impact. This includes leading a high-impact, multi-region portfolio, influencing the global health community, and strengthening partnerships with governments and donors. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure that the organization's programs are evidence-based, innovative, and aligned with its long-term strategy. Candidates for the CPO position should have a proven track record in programmatic leadership within global health, nutrition, or related sectors, with a strong emphasis on scientific and technical credibility. The role requires a visionary yet pragmatic leader with an advanced degree in a relevant discipline, and a preference for a doctoral degree. The ideal candidate will have experience in resource mobilization, strategic partnerships, and a deep understanding of the global health and development ecosystem. They should be a collaborative, inclusive, and action-oriented leader, with a global mindset and a passion for the role of nutrition in health and economic development. The CPO will also be expected to model the organization's guiding behaviors, including integrity, respect, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
