Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate with a minimum of two years of securities litigation experience to join their Litigation and Trial Practice Group in Washington, D.C. The role involves working on complex securities and M&A litigation matters, providing an opportunity to engage in high-stakes disputes and regulatory enforcement actions. Duties Represent clients in securities class actions and derivative litigation. Handle M&A litigation, including breach of fiduciary duty suits and corporate control disputes. Engage in SEC and regulatory enforcement matters. Defend accountants and professional liability cases. Collaborate with clients on litigation strategy and risk mitigation. Requirements Minimum of two years of experience in securities litigation. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of practice. Skills Proficiency in legal research and drafting. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
