Special Procedures Interventional Radiology Technologist - 13 Weeks
Location: Austin, TX
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Day shift, 07:30 - 17:30, on-call required.
Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Special Procedures Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in neuro interventional radiology and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures while effectively managing shifting patient volumes throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional radiology procedures, including Perm Cath/Dialysis Cath, Angiogram, Embolization, Mechanical Thrombectomy, and Kyphoplasty.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain and operate specialized imaging equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Experience in general and neuro interventional radiology.
- ARRT certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage varying patient volumes effectively.
- Good communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
