Occupational Therapist-Acute Rehabilitation

Description:

• Conducts and documents patient evaluation per physician referral, develops a plan of care for each patient across the age continuum (pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric)
• Implements treatment plan per physician referral and evaluation results, across the age continuum
• Provides formal and informal teaching of patient and family in the role of therapy and the patient's disability and needs
• Supports department activities which influence accreditation by outside agencies, such as quality assurance, peer review

Experience/Qualifications:

• Graduate of accredited professional program in Occupational Therapy
• Current GA license
• BCLS certified
