Through disciplined and accretive investments, we have successfully tripled the size of our company since going public in December 2021 while maintaining a strong balance sheet.The Mail Room Technician is responsible for the efficient processing, sorting, distribution, collection, and shipment of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier deliveries. This position ensures timely and accurate mail handling while maintaining exceptional customer service for employees, vendors, and visitors. The Mail Room Technician supports daily office operations by coordinating with delivery services, maintaining mailroom equipment, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and overnight deliveries.Process outgoing mail using postal equipment and shipping software.Coordinate shipments through carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS.Verify and track package deliveries and obtain signatures when required.Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and package tracking records.Deliver mail and packages throughout corporate offices and designated departments.Assist employees with shipping requests, postage requirements, and package inquiries.Monitor and maintain shipping supplies, mailroom inventory, and courier materials.Operate mail processing equipment, postage meters, scanners, and package tracking systems.Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and coordinate repairs as needed.Ensure confidential and sensitive documents are handled securely.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe mailroom environment.Support office moves, records storage, and special distribution projects.Comply with company policies, safety procedures, and postal regulations.Provide coverage for reception, courier services, or other administrative duties as assigned.QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Additional training in mail services, logistics, or customer service is preferred.Experience1-3 years of experience in mailroom operations, shipping/receiving, logistics, or facilities support preferred.Experience with package tracking systems and shipping software is an asset.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong organizational and time management skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong customer service and communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.Basic knowledge of postal, shipping, and courier procedures.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.Frequent bending, reaching, and moving throughout office facilities.Ability to operate carts, hand trucks, and mailroom equipment.Crescent Energy is an equal opportunity employer.
