Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Charlottesville, VA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week available Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a 12-bed Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:4 patient ratio Manage patients with diagnoses including respiratory illnesses, renal illnesses, diabetes, sepsis, cellulitis, infections, heart failure, sickle cell, and cystic fibrosis Document and manage patient records using Epic EMR Float within scope of practice to other units as needed per facility float policy Work every other weekend and a minimum of 2 out of 3 winter holidays Required Qualifications Active Virginia RN license (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date) BLS certification required Epic EMR experience required Nursys verification required at time of submission References required Must adhere to facility float policy within scope of practice Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals are not accepted for this unit) Preferred Experience / Skills BSN preferred Prior experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and management of complex medical diagnoses Why Join Us Longer assignment available through January 2, 2027, offering extended stability for travel professionals Up to 40 hours of approved time off per 13-week contract period Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 775511.
