Job Description Summary:As a Software Engineer 1, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our innovative healthcare technology solutions. You will work within an agile team to build high-quality software that enhances the user experience for medical professionals.Job Responsibilities:* Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.* Develop, test, and deploy software features and enhancements using established coding standards and best practices.* Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.* Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.* Write and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, API specifications, and test plans.* Actively participate in agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.* Continuously learn and apply new technologies and methodologies to improve development processes and product capabilities.Job Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.* 1-2 years of professional experience in software development, preferably in a web or cloud-based environment.* Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, GO).* Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and/or back-end technologies (e.g., Java).* Understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and database concepts.* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).* Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.ModMed Benefits Highlight: At ModMed, we believe it’s important to offer a competitive benefits package designed to meet the diverse needs of our growing workforce.
