Your expertise in OT and experience with school-based and teletherapy services will be key in delivering high-quality, individualized care. You’ll play a leadership role, providing supervision to a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), while collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and support staff committed to student success.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy license issued by the State of New Mexico
• Proven experience with school-aged populations across Pre-K to 12th grade
• Strong skills in both in-person and teletherapy OT services
• Ability to supervise and guide a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students
• Serve students across multiple grade levels, tailoring interventions to a broad range of needs
• Employ evidence-based practices through both traditional and teletherapy modalities
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes
• Provide supervision, mentorship, and guidance to a COTA supporting your caseload
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district policies
