Business Analyst

Position: Business Analyst FLSA Status: Exempt Department: Information Systems Reports to: Director of Document Platform and Products Summary of Position: The Business Analyst is responsible for the technical analysis, training, and feasibility assessments associated with new document applications and implementation processes for InfoIMAGE clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Analysis for Product Implementation Works alongside designated Implementation Specialists; implements new projects and applications for clients Gathers job specifications and business rules, and technical deliverables through direct client interfacing to assist with implementation responsibilities Translate client business requirements to technical documentation for the Software Engineers to implement. Manages the overall technical analysis for all new client application setups Performs data analysis; reviews files and mapping fields between available data, document templates and Statement of Work. Maps all feature-level requirements to existing products and identifies clients’ customization needs; documents all customizations to the Statement of Work documents; creates preliminary mock-ups used to guide product coding and development Pre-Sales Phase and Feasibility Works with the Sales and Account Management Departments in pre-sales or early contract phases; outlines the scope of projects and determine the feasibility for preliminary analysis if required Initiates and facilitates feasibility meetings; reviews and documents assessments with internal departments for prospective clients and/or existing client requests Product Offerings and Training Trains internal departments on new product offerings Presents various product offerings, services, and feature options at a granular detail to internal staff and existing clients, familiarizing them with product offerings and capabilities Documentation Documents and maintains current Implementation Department resources including: client core system listings, corresponding data formats, sample statement designs and mockups, product specifications, client requirements, customization requests, and pre-implementation client questionnaires

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required (programming or computer science fields preferred) Must have basic consumer banking product and service knowledge 2-3 years of overall software related technical analysis experience 2-3 years of hands‑on solid experience with data analysis, mapping and transformation 2-3 years of experience with analysis on web based application (B2B and B2C) 2-3 years of regulated industry (financial services or healthcare experience preferred) Solid understanding of document management and various business document correspondence Innovative yet practical in devising custom solutions or new features applicable to client demand Ability to work with various functional organizations such as Implementation Specialists, QA Department, Sales, Operations, and Information Systems Department. Ability to handle multiple projects and work‑streams simultaneously Solid understanding of database, SQL and XML Has some scripting or programming experience is a plus but not required. Speak excellent English and communicate information in a clear, concise manner Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Must communicate information in a clear and concise manner Excellent organizational and analytical skills Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects independently to meet deadlines and complete tasks in an accurate manner Physical Requirements: Multi-limb and eye‑hand coordination Able to stand, bend, reach, stoop and lift boxes up to 10 lbs.
