Controls Tech II

This Controls Technician will support the Controls Engineering team in a hands on manufacturing environment, focusing on the fabrication, installation, troubleshooting, and improvement of industrial control systems and production equipment. Day to day responsibilities include building and wiring control panels, integrating new control systems into production, diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls-related equipment issues, and providing technical support to maintenance, engineering, and production teams. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert for equipment controls, ensuring machinery operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. They will work closely with engineers and production personnel to maximize uptime, complete continuous improvement projects, document maintenance and controls activities, and prioritize critical repairs while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of industrial controls experience
- Experience with Allen Bradley or Kentz PLCs
- Experience adding and subtracting logic programs
- Experience building and wiring a control panel


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Injection molding or wiring processing experience strongly preferred
- Associates degree or technical diploma
- Great communication skills
