Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Technician in Colorado Springs, California

Duties:

• Mechanical inspection of precision machined components.CMM (Optical and Touch Probe), Interferometry, Laser Micrometer, and other advanced metrology equipment.
• Calibrations of metrology equipment.
• CAPA Corrective and Preventive Action support in relation to NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) with thorough documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Work experience in a QC and manufacturing environment is essential.
• Preferred: Lean, Corrective and Preventive Action, root cause investigation, Kaizen (continuous improvement-PDCA) knowledge and understanding
• Preferred: ISO 9001, AS9100, and / or FDA Certifications
• Experience with any/all the following is highly desired:
• Advanced Metrology
• Programmable optical measurement tools (optical CMM)
• Keyence Image Measurement system
• Interferometers used for surface finish and form analysis
• Laser micrometer

This is a full-time Contract opportunity. Shift: Monday- Friday, 10am - 6:30pm

Pay rate*: $34.00/hr - $35.00/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
