Plasma Center Technician

Job Description BioLife, a division of Takeda, is looking for part‑time Plasma Donor Screeners to work 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week. The position offers a paid, interactive training program and a flexible schedule designed to fit your life. About the role Every day, you will serve as a plasma donor screener performing phlebotomy and supporting plasma center operations. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager. Responsibilities Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety. Screen new and repeat donors; take and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System to prepare charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year experience in a customer or patient‑facing role. Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach up to shoulders and below knees. Ability to lift 5 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 32 lbs.; rarely up to 50 lbs. Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance. Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to wear gloves for 90% of tasks due to risk of exposure to blood‑borne pathogens (Risk Level1).
