MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Coreworks is hiring immediately for a full‑time Maintenance Technician position. Location: Brightwood Club Association – 100 Brightwood Club Drive, Lutherville Timonium, MD 21093. Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Some mandatory overtime and participation in the on‑call schedule required. Requirement: Prior maintenance experience required. Fixed Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour. Job Summary Performs a variety of skilled maintenance duties related to facility engineering and maintenance functions, while providing field leadership, ensuring quality assurance, supporting training efforts, and managing escalations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in making decisions on normal and complex repairs; report major problems to the maintenance supervisor and foreman. Construct, finish, install, maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems or related facilities using power and hand tools. Cleans, lubricates, services, repairs or diagnoses malfunctions of HVAC, electrical and mechanical building systems, sterilizers, sprinkler and standpipe systems, transport systems, electronic signalling systems, fire alarm systems and similar specialty equipment. Supervise and lead a group of workers on a project. Read, comprehend and transmit detailed instructions verbally and in writing. Teach advanced maintenance skills to other department members. Review work of outside vendors and licensed maintenance workers; make punch lists. Report on and repair discrepancies as assigned. Analyze and correct complex building system problems, alone or as part of a team. Maintain logs, perform rounds and complete work orders, tests and inspections. Make recommendations for modification or improvement of preventive maintenance systems. Serve as a member of the facility emergency response team. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Four years of skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling. Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting in an engineering or maintenance discipline. Two years of experience as a licensed Journeyman in the specialized trade. Must have one of the following Master license in one trade or two of the following: Journeyman Electrical License, Registered ACR Technician with EPA certification in Refrigerant, or Journeyman Plumber License, etc. Valid driver’s license.
