Maintenance Technician

Seeking Maintenance Technicians, 1st and 2nd shifts available,
1st shift: 5:45am - 2:30pm
2nd shift: 2:15pm- 11:00pm- (Must be willing to train on 1st shift)

Job Type: Full-time: 40 hours per week: occasionally needed OT

Reports To: Maintenance Manager / Production Manager

Job Summary:

• Follow All safety procedures and regulations while performing work on the facility and production machinery in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly for production.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency to diagnose and repair all production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of all work done on the equipment.
• Help to train employees in how to safely operate the equipment.
• Work with the maintenance team and other departments to maximize production and repair any issues.
• Track all parts used. Identify and request parts as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards and drive continuous improvement in the production facility.
• Strong mechanical and electrical experience to improve the operations of the facility.
• Team Player and willingness to work on the production floor as needed.

Skills

• Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with HVAC control systems and diagnostics
• Understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and safety standards.
• Understanding of pneumatic systems troubleshooting techniques, and safety standards
• Understanding of mechanical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and safety standards.
• Familiar with CMMS systems.
• Knowledge and experience with GMP's, food safety programs (SQF, etc.) and HACCP skills
• Strong Math Skills
• Effective communication skills verbally and written
• Experience: Mechanical: 5 years (Preferred)Food production: 3 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Driver's License (Preferred)
