Production Technician - 12 Hour Night Shift (Hunt Valley Plant)

McCormick & Company, Inc. ("the Company") is hiring a full‑time Production Technician at its Hunt Valley Plant located at 11100 McCormick Rd., Hunt Valley, MD. Position Overview Under direct general supervision, work within a team‑based environment to move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods using mechanical and manual means. Flexibility with shift assignments is required; potential scheduling may include Sunday–Thursday to meet business needs and reduce overtime. Responsibilities Make product changeovers. Perform packaging size changes, minor repairs, and adjustments on equipment. Operate, process, fill and package materials on production line equipment. Perform consistent quality inspections of products. Pack and palletize finished goods safely. Accurately complete all related paperwork. Use computerized inventory management systems to select orders and input data. Maintain accurate inventories. Required Qualifications Move up to 50 pounds frequently; move up to 100 pounds with assistance occasionally. Perform basic math functions. Results‑focused, self‑motivated, and able to work under limited supervision. Experience working accurately in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment. Ability to communicate and build relationships in a diverse, team‑based environment. Use logical thinking and independent judgment to solve problems. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Under direct general supervision, move raw, packaging, and finished goods within a department using mechanical and manual means. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proven mechanical ability. Forklift experience. Ability to read, navigate, and interpret multiple computerized data collection, data entry, and inventory control systems. Compensation and Benefits Base Salary: $17.85 - $26.77 per hour, based on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. Eligible for McCormick’s Dividend Program.
