Customer Service RepresentativeShingle & Gibb Automation has an immediate opening for a full-time Customer Service Representative at our Amherst, NY location. If you are a customer service professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Shingle & Gibb Automation has an exciting opportunity for you!In this role you will:Provide customer service in a fast-paced environment.Process quotes and orders for customers including expediting, model, part number and pricing review.Update orders to comply with customer changes.Maintain delivery performance on orders, coordination of information and communication between customer, outside sales and our vendors.Provide timely communication back to the customer through all stages of the quote and order processing.What you bring to the table:Ability to handle high volume of email and telephone interactions.Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.Bilingual in Spanish preferred.Possess a strong ability to organize data from different sources (email, phone conversations, teams messages, etc.)Exude a pleasant and friendly personality and demonstrate a passion for the customer.Ability to multi-task while focusing on the importance of details.Strong Computer skills with a high proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (formerly 'Office')Epicor P21 experience is a plusFamiliarity with distributorship operations is a plusStrong problem solving and Teamwork skills.Must be able to interface with all levels of management both internal and with external customers.Continuous learning of and training on our product lines and technologies.Ability to work in an open office environment.Must have reliable transportationMust have reliable internet connection (for hybrid/remote work)Minimum education required- high school diplomaShift and Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:15 am to 5 pmCompensation details:The expected rate of pay for this position is $22.00 per hour - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.This position will include in-office training for the first couple months, followed by a flexible hybrid schedule during normal business hours Monday-Friday.Shingle & Gibb Automation is the East Coast's premier Industrial Automation Distributor that has evolved over 80 years from roots in the mechanical power transmission industry to a leader in the high technology controls and automation world.
