Environmental Services Associate (Part-time casual, Evening, Doctors)

Job Description Summary: Environmental Service Associates are dedicated to cleaning and maintaining defined areas of the organization. They provide customer service by cleaning and maintaining patient rooms, public areas, and service areas, completing tasks that support departmental and organization processes. Cleaning and maintenance responsibilities are defined by specific job/task assignments. Responsibilities And Duties: 40% Obtains assigned cleaning or maintenance requests from an automated system, daily assignment sheet, or verbal direction. Performs additional functions required of the position, such as moving beds or furniture to service customers or execute the cleaning process. Follows departmental/organizational processes and completes all required paperwork to monitor departmental statistics. 20% Follows direction and proper usage of all equipment used in job performance, ensuring cleanliness. Notifies appropriate area through the work order process and other defined paperwork to keep all equipment and miscellaneous items organized throughout the hospital. 10% Keeps all assigned carts and areas stocked to appropriate operating levels. Linen distribution is included in stocking of areas. 10% Is willing to complete other duties as assigned, including storeroom maintenance to meet hospital cleanliness and safety standards. 20% Uses a high level of customer service throughout the OhioHealth organization to patients and all other customers. Minimum Qualifications: No degree or diploma required. Additional Job Description: Ability to demonstrate skill in reading and following directions and must demonstrate customer service skills.
