Details Work on South Wing 6, a 32-bed general surgical unit that can flex up to 34 beds Fast-paced, highly acute care patient population Cares for patients undergoing general surgery, colorectal, elective weight loss (gastric) surgery, urology, spinal, thoracic, trauma, ortho-trauma, and endocrine procedures Occasional medical overflow patients Patient ratios typically range from 5-7 patients per nurse NOC shift schedule of 19:00-07:30, three 12-hour shifts per week totaling 36 hours No on-call requirements 13-week assignment Requirements Active MA RN license required Minimum of 5 years of RN experience required Med/Surg nursing experience required Additional Information Provide nursing care to a diverse and acute surgical patient population across multiple specialties American Traveler Job ID P-736590.
