Department Manager

Position : Department Manager, Commercial Service Department Location : Bloomington, IL Re: DH Pace Company is a family‑owned and privately held business with annual sales over $1 billion. The company leads in distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products. Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day operations of the commercial door service department Promote and participate in process improvements, looking for opportunities to do things more effectively and efficiently Communicate regularly with members of management to review business results, share observations, and provide feedback Communicate with customers, ensuring the highest quality of service has been provided Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly and yearly performance reviews Manage, provide leadership for, and develop staff through effective communication, coaching, training, and development for continued success and/or for future advancement Lead monthly sales and performance department meetings Other duties as assigned by Manager Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred; a minimum of four (4) years of experience managing personnel; an equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered Responsible for communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction levels consistently exceed expectations Review customer survey data, respond to customer concerns Committed to a high standard of safety, and willing and able to comply with all safety laws and policies Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record Ability to work on‑site at our Bloomington, IL location Pay Range : $66,332 USD - $102,814 USD. This range is an estimate; actual compensation depends on qualifications, experience, skills, and other factors.
