Commercial Lines Account Manager

We are growing our Florida operations and are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to support and service an established commercial lines book of business in Riverview Florida. Position Summary The Commercial Insurance Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day servicing and retention of commercial insurance clients. This role focuses on account management, policy servicing, renewals, endorsements, and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing commercial book. This is a service-driven role that works closely with producers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure clients receive timely, accurate, and proactive support. Key Responsibilities Account & Policy Management Service a book of commercial insurance accounts across multiple industries and policy types Process endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, policy changes, and coverage inquiries Manage commercial renewals from start to finish, including marketing, remarketing, and carrier negotiations Review policies for accuracy and coverage consistency prior to binding and delivery Client Service & Retention Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial clients Provide professional, timely responses to client requests and coverage questions Proactively identify coverage gaps and risk exposures Maintain high retention through consistent follow-up and relationship management Cross-Selling & Growth Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing commercial book (e.g., EPLI, cyber, umbrella, workers' compensation, professional liability) Collaborate with producers to introduce additional coverages and strengthen client relationships Support agency growth initiatives through account rounding and retention strategies Carrier & Internal Coordination Work directly with carrier underwriters and marketing reps Maintain accurate and complete documentation within the agency management system Ensure compliance with carrier, E&O, and internal service standards Collaborate with producers, leadership, and operations to ensure seamless account handling Qualifications Required Florida Property & Casualty 2-20 license (active and in good standing) 2+ years of commercial insurance account management or servicing experience Strong understanding of commercial coverages (BOP, GL, Auto, WC, Property, Umbrella, etc.) Experience servicing middle-market and small commercial accounts Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills Preferred Experience working within an independent insurance agency or insurance alliance Familiarity with agency management systems (HawkSoft or similar) Experience with cross-selling and account rounding in a commercial book Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment $70,000 annual base salary Health, dental, and vision insurance options #J-18808-Ljbffr NuLogic Business Solutions
