Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

As the ADON, you will partner with the Director of Nursing to inspire and guide the nursing team, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care that supports our mission of transforming everyday expectations into extraordinary outcomes.
What You'll Do:
- Support the Director of Nursing in overseeing all nursing operations
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting regulations
- Serve as a role model, mentor, and leader for nursing staff
- Plan, implement, and evaluate clinical services and programs
- Collaborate with other departments to support holistic resident care
- Participate in committees such as Quality Assurance, Infection Control, Safety, and Leadership
- Oversee training and onboarding of new nursing staff
- Conduct regular staff meetings to address challenges and celebrate successes
- Participate in surveys and accreditation visits
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Administration preferred
- Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of OBRA, Joint Commission requirements, and state regulations
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Minimum 2 years of skilled nursing experience in a leadership role
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to motivate, mentor, and engage teams in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for caring for geriatric and sub-acute populations
