Equipment Delivery Driver / MechanicBigFoot Staffing is hiring for a hybrid Equipment Delivery Driver / Mechanic role with a well-established Central Oregon company in a temp-to-hire role. The role combines local equipment deliveries with maintenance and repair responsibilities on a variety of construction and rental equipment.This is a great opportunity to join a small, team-oriented company looking for a dependable long-term employee who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with the organization.ResponsibilitiesDeliver and pick up equipment throughout Central Oregon safely and professionallyOperate light-duty diesel trucks with trailersSecure and transport equipment safely according to company and DOT standardsPerform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on equipmentInspect equipment before and after rentals or deliveriesTroubleshoot mechanical issues involving small engines, hydraulics, trailers, and compact equipmentAssist with loading and unloading equipment in the yardMaintain accurate delivery paperwork and service recordsCommunicate professionally with customers at jobsites and delivery locationsSupport general shop and yard organization as neededQualificationsClean driving record requiredExperience towing trailers and operating diesel pickup trucksMechanical aptitude with equipment, diesel systems, or small enginesAbility to safely load, unload, and secure equipmentStrong work ethic with dependable attendanceComfortable working independently and within a small team environmentAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditionsValid driver's license requiredPreferred Experience$25 - $33 an hour DOEEquipment delivery or towing experienceTrailer backing and maneuvering skillsPreventative maintenance and repair experienceFamiliarity with skid steers, mini excavators, generators, trailers, or compact construction equipmentPrevious experience in construction, equipment rental, diesel, agricultural, or mechanic environmentsBenefitsEmployee health insurance providedOpportunity for long-term permanent employmentStable full-time scheduleSupportive small-company environmentHands-on role with variety and independenceThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with a growing company that values reliability, teamwork, and people who enjoy working with equipment.
