Lead Fiber Technician – Spartanburg, SCJoin Next Level Technician as a Lead Fiber Technician in Spartanburg, SC! We're looking for technicians with a solid fiber foundation who are eager to continue growing their skills.Responsibilities:Pull, route, dress, and label fiber optic cable throughout a new construction data centerTerminate fiber connectors including LC, SC, MPO, and other connector typesPerform fusion splicing and maintain splice documentationTest fiber using OTDRs, OLTS, power meters, and light sourcesTroubleshoot fiber connectivity and resolve deficienciesInstall fiber trunks, jumpers, patch panels, cassettes, racks, and fiber enclosuresRead and interpret blueprints and fiber routing drawingsMaintain accurate labeling and documentation throughout the projectFollow all OSHA and jobsite safety requirements while maintaining clean, professional installationsRequirements:2+ years of commercial fiber optic installation experienceExperience pulling, terminating, testing, and/or fusion splicing fiber optic cableFoundation in the full fiber installation process with a willingness to continue learningAbility to read blueprints and installation drawingsOSHA 10 Certification (Required)Valid Driver's License (must have ID available for data center access)Basic low voltage hand toolsFull PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, steel-toe boots)Ability to pass a drug screen and background checkWhy Work with Next Level Technician in Spartanburg, SC?Weekly Pay: Get paid every week, no waitingCompetitive Wages: $22–$28/hr based on your experience and skillsetPTO, medical benefits, sign-on & referral bonusesContract-to-Hire Opportunity: Build a long-term career with Premiere as they continue expanding their Spartanburg operationsCareer Growth: Gain experience on a large-scale data center project with opportunities to continue advancing your fiber skillsetDedicated Recruiter Support: Work with recruiters who understand the fiber industry and your career goalsConsistent Hours: Approximately 50-hour work weeks with overtime opportunitiesWhy This Opportunity Stands OutOne of the biggest reasons candidates succeed here is the Project Manager you'll be working with.
