Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Spartanburg, SC is seeking an Automation Technician to join their team! You will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of automated systems and equipment.


Automation Technician Summary

• $30.00/HR +
• Full Time/Direct Hire
• 1st $ 2nd Shift Available
• Benefits: Paid vacation, paid holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, etc.,
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in automated systems.
• Maintain automated machinery and control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize automation processes.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on automated equipment.

Automation Technician Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 3 + years' experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, robotics, and control systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematic and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols and systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
