Job Title Job Description About the unit 6 North West IMU-Acuity Adaptable is a 35-bed unit that offers a patient-family centered approach to both Medical and Progressive Level of Care. Our patients stay with us through the progression of care. We promote Team-Based Care that includes the patient and family to develop shared goals of care. This multidisciplinary collaboration brings the patient and family together in meaningful ways to provide quality patient care. It is a major academic and referral center with Level I adult and Level II pediatric trauma designations. The advanced capabilities and clinical expertise within this center have earned it Magnet designation four consecutive times and has the distinct honor of housing Michigan's first Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence. Scope of work Coordinates aspects of patient care by managing communication and clerical tasks essential to the functioning of the unit. In addition to communication and clerical tasks, she/he monitors and stocks supplies. Provides patient care and related functions as delegated by and under the direction of a registered nurse. Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
