Property Accounting Manager

CFS is partnering with a leading Boston-area real estate investment and property ownership firm to identify a Property Accounting Manager. Salary: $115,000-$125,000 + discretionary bonus Schedule: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote Key Responsibilities Manage month-end and year-end close processes for assigned properties Review and prepare financial statements, variance analyses, and reporting packages Oversee CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, and lease accounting activities Coordinate annual budgets and forecasting processes Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls Manage property-level cash flow analysis and balance sheet reconciliations Partner with property managers and asset managers on financial performance initiatives Support audits, tax preparation, and lender reporting requirements Mentor and develop accounting team members Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred 5+ years of real estate or property accounting experience Management experience required Strong understanding of commercial property accounting, CAM reconciliations, and lease accounting Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting system experience Excellent communication and organizational skills Compensation & Benefits $115,000-$125,000 base salary Discretionary bonus Hybrid schedule (4 days in office) Comprehensive benefits package Stable and growing real estate investment platform with strong market presence #J-18808-Ljbffr Creative Financial Staffing, LLC
