Job Responsibilities:

• Create Tailored Rehabilitation Plans: Understand patients' unique needs and formulate individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional goals

• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic, integrated care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers in therapy techniques to promote ongoing success outside of the clinical setting
• Track and Adjust Treatment Plans: Monitor progress and document clinical results, making necessary modifications to ensure patients remain on track

Education Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Support for continuing education or post-graduate certifications is readily available

Certification:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
