Pay Rate: $30/hr
Position Overview
Our client, a global leader in power solutions and manufacturing, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support production operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will provide hands-on support to production teams, troubleshoot process-related issues, improve manufacturing processes, and execute projects that enhance safety, quality, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide real-time support to manufacturing and production operations.
- Troubleshoot process and production issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Develop, maintain, and improve work instructions and process documentation.
- Support tooling, equipment, and process improvement initiatives.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Execute small to medium-sized manufacturing projects and track project progress.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Safety, and Engineering teams to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, including time studies and process optimization.
- Ensure process changes are properly documented, validated, and controlled.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, engineering, or industrial environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Root Cause Analysis.
- Familiarity with work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing best practices.
