Commercial Litigation Associate

Established (40+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Commercial Litigation Attorney for Commercial Litigation and Business Disputes in St. Louis, Missouri

An established firm based in St. Louis, Missouri with over 40+ years in practice is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This role involves significant experience with commercial litigation, business disputes, contract claims, and complex civil matters , representing closely held businesses and corporate clients in state and federal courts while managing cases through all phases of litigation.

Salary range: $115,000-$165,000+ contingent on experience

Qualifications
Active Missouri Bar membership in good standing
Three years of experience handling commercial litigation and complex business disputes
Strong experience with motion practice, discovery, and depositions
Experience appearing in Missouri state and federal courts
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple matters independently while collaborating with litigation teams
Strong client communication skills and sound professional judgment

 

Responsibilities
Represent clients in commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery requests, and substantive legal memoranda
Conduct and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials
Develop litigation strategy and advise clients on risk assessment and dispute resolution options
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver efficient and effective legal services
Manage active caseloads while meeting court deadlines and client expectations
