Shipping & Receiving Clerk Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3 PM - 11 PM Position Summary / Essential Functions Working under direct guidance in a team environment, the Shipping and Receiving team performs a variety of product support duties following well‑defined procedures and processes. Key responsibilities include: Unboxing Inspect products upon arrival. Tear down boxes and place items in bins. Induction Verify documents and labels accompanying product receive. Report discrepancies or damage to the team lead. Communicate with internal customers. Outsourcing Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to vendors. Communicate with internal customers. Use the warehouse management system. Oil & Bag Assemble, label and package product per customer specifications. Work with preservative oil. Use the warehouse management system. Finished Goods Work with the warehouse management system and generate export‑compliance documents. Follow import/export materials procedures and customs regulations. Coordinate with internal customers. Shipping Pull and prepare packaging for shipments. Assemble, label and package product. Pallet stacking, banding and stretch wrapping. All sub‑departments observe all safety rules and regulations and maintain work areas in a neat and orderly condition. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. A minimum of six months of direct, industry‑related experience in a warehouse environment. Prior knowledge of component flow or material handling. Ability to adapt to procedures, techniques or processes for varied assignments. Effective verbal, written and basic computer skills. Ability to implement and apply lean initiatives. Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a high‑performing team environment. Ability to interpret reports and use standard business software applications. Physical Requirements Frequently stand, walk, sit and use hands; occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Requires close vision and ability to adjust focus. Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; occasionally to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; moderate noise level.
