Job Description

We are seeking a Desktop support technician to join our team supporting a professional banking environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in end-user computing, device imaging and deployment, M365 and Windows support, hardware break/fix, ServiceNow ticket management, and Cisco/server fundamentals and a proven ability to deliver high-touch support, resolve incidents promptly, and maintain accurate documentation to prevent escalation .

Responsibilities:

• Configure, install, test, and replace hardware components and peripherals.
• Manage and resolve hardware and software issues for end users to prevent escalation.
• Reimage PCs, back up and restore user data, and validate software versions and functionality.
• Provide cross-divisional troubleshooting and maintain accurate ServiceNow tickets and work orders.
• Assist with administration of VDI, patch management, encryption, antivirus, and endpoint management tools.
• Support MS Office applications including Teams, Outlook, and Windows OS.
• Utilize enterprise utilities to troubleshoot device performance and authentication issues, including two-factor authentication.
• Deliver courteous, executive-level customer service in a high-profile setting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in software and hardware support, with server and Cisco knowledge.
• Proficiency supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Office suite, MS Teams, Outlook, and Windows OS.
• Experience assisting with VDI, patch management, encryption technologies, antivirus, and incident/request management.
• Hands-on expertise with user data backup and recovery, and device reimaging both remotely and at desk.
• Strong customer communication and service skills with executive support exposure.
• Knowledge of two-factor authentication concepts and support procedures.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-profile environment and document work accurately.
• Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, with flexibility to stay after 5:00 p.m. as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing systems.
• Background supporting banking or other regulated enterprise environments.
