Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Telemetry

Schedule

12H Day shifts; every other weekend required.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours: Full-time; Contract length: 4 weeks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required.
• Active and unencumbered nursing license required.
• BLS certification required; CMSRN preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to starting.
• Experience with EPIC or similar documentation system from the past 2 years is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical surgical telemetry setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and document changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to facility protocols and procedures for patient safety and quality care.
• Participate in educational programs and training as necessary.

Compliance / Notes

Dress code: scrubs in navy blue and white, minimal jewelry, groomed hair and beard. Reliable transportation is necessary, as public transportation is not available in the area.
