Overview
Registered Nurse, PCU | Plattsburgh, NY | Start 09/10/2026 | 4 weeks | 2,370–2,513 per week | Shift: 12-hour Night (3x12) | Travel - Temporary Assignment in a hospital PCU unit

Key Highlights
- Weekly pay: 2,370–2,513 per week
- Contract duration: 4 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights; 3 shifts per week
- Start date: 09/10/2026
- Unit setting: PCU unit within an inpatient hospital environment
- Floating: float to appropriate units as needed as part of the Resource Float team

Responsibilities
- Deliver bedside nursing care for adult patients on the PCU with cardiac and hemodynamic needs
- Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient status; administer prescribed meds, including insulin and cardiac drips
- Initiate IV access and manage IV therapies; perform EKGs and assist with post-cardiac cath care
- Document care in the electronic medical record and collaborate with the care team for patient progression and discharge planning
- Adhere to unit protocols for insulin drips, cardiac drips, and other critical infusions; maintain patient safety and infection control standards

Requirements
- Current, valid New York RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association); NIHSS certification required prior to start
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Minimum 1 year of telemetry/PCU experience in acute inpatient settings; 1 year in the specialty area preferred
- Ability to start within the next week and to float to appropriate units as needed
- Competence in insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac cath care
