This critical access hospital holds Chest Pain accreditation and Joint Commission accreditation, and is actively working toward a Trauma Level 4 designation. The facility maintains 18 acute inpatient beds with an average daily census of 6, supporting a manageable and focused inpatient environment. A fully staffed Obstetrics Unit is available on-site to support comprehensive patient care delivery.

Outdoor enthusiasts may pursue hiking, rafting, bear viewing, fishing, and camping, particularly in areas such as the Upper Peninsula. The state also features cultural destinations, nature and wildlife areas, and family-friendly attractions distributed throughout the region.

The clinician will provide 24-hour in-house call coverage in the Emergency Department, with admissions required as part of the assigned duties. Shift coverage follows a 1:1 call ratio, and the clinician must maintain continuous on-site availability throughout each assigned period. Required procedures include emergent intubation and central line placement, with pediatric cases also within the scope of practice. Certifications required for this assignment include ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
