Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit, focusing on oncology and trauma cases
• Titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem as needed
• Collaborate with support staff including nursing assistants and case managers
• Float to medical-surgical and PCU units as required, maintaining consistent level of care
• Participate in comprehensive two-day orientation program
• Facilitate effective communication during hourly patient rounding

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Nebraska
• Minimum of 1 year experience in PCU and oncology patient care
• ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• Chemotherapy certification required, ONS/ONCC preferred
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
