This position is remote, allowing therapists to connect with clients from the comfort of their homes while leveraging modern telehealth technologies. However, the therapist will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues periodically at our outpatient office located in Bakersfield. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient and family psychosocial needs, developing individualized, actionable care plans tailored to each client.

• Prioritize and manage daily responsibilities by evaluating the needs of new, ongoing, and discharging patients, ensuring continuity and quality of care.

• Diagnose and provide effective treatment for a range of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with clients to formulate treatment plans that are aligned with their personal goals and unique circumstances.

• Implement brief solution-based therapy approaches and harm reduction strategies as needed to effectively support clients in crisis.

• Deliver compassionate support during periods of bereavement and crisis, employing relevant social work interventions to foster resilience.

• Ensure compliance with all organizational standards and protocols to guarantee the health and safety of both staff and clients.

The ideal candidate will be working with a diverse population, including individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• Current State Licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent is mandatory.

• Proficient problem-solving abilities to address complex client issues and devise strategic therapeutic interventions.

• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

While a minimum of three years of experience is required, applicants with experience in various therapeutic modalities, particularly those employing brief solution-focused approaches and trauma-informed care, will find themselves well-prepared for this role. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms will be highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
