Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.
• At least one year of classroom experience in a school setting.
• CDE license in Special Education, or currently in the process of obtaining it (copies must accompany your application materials).
• Flexible, adaptable, and eager to work as a supportive team member.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to fostering an equitable, inclusive classroom.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students’ IEPs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with federal and state special education regulations.
• Engage frequently with students and families, building rapport and fostering trust.
• Develop creative, culturally responsive lesson plans that inspire engagement.
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and school-based activities.

This role includes:

• Full-time schedule (35 hours per week) throughout the academic year.
