Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required to facilitate communication with students and families

• At least one year of experience in a classroom setting working directly with special education students
• Must hold or be in the process of obtaining a valid CDE license (cannot sign TEE)
• Ability to provide a copy of your CDE license or proof via COOL along with your application

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and resource support to elementary students, tailoring strategies to meet individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to promote student growth and inclusion
• Create a positive, supportive learning environment that respects and values diverse backgrounds, cultures, and learning styles
• Engage families in their child’s progress and support needs through effective communication and culturally responsive outreach
• Maintain accurate student records and follow all district and state guidelines related to special education services
