Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Obstetrics and Gynecology in Richmond, VA

Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Richmond, VA Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care for an average of 25-30 scheduled patients per day in an office setting. Manage a caseload that is approximately 90% low-risk pregnancy, 10% high-risk pregnancy, and 20% gynecology. Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal births, C-sections, breech deliveries, and VBACs. Execute gynecological procedures such as IUD placement, colposcopy, LEEP, and diagnostic or operative laparoscopy. Conduct fetal heart rate interpretations (NST/CST/FSE) and perform or interpret Level I/screening OB ultrasounds. Oversee surgical cases ranging from 1 to 4 surgeries per day depending on case complexity and provider preference. Utilize Epic (EPC) for all documentation and electronic medical records. Qualifications & Credentialing Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN is required. An active Virginia medical license is required (or willingness to obtain). Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. A Self-Query NPDB report must be provided at the time of presentation, pulled within the last 30 days. Candidate must have a clean background; the facility is unable to accept candidates with pending claims or malpractice history. Note: This position requires a local provider. Only mileage is reimbursed. At the time of name clear, candidates must state the location they will be traveling from. Credentialing timeframe is estimated at approximately 120 days.
