Senior Project Manager (Operational Excellence & TPS)

Senior Project Manager (Operational Excellence & TPS) A premier global logistics firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive field strengthening and new business start-ups. This role focuses on maintaining operational excellence by utilizing the Toyota Production System (TPS) and PDCA principles. Reporting to the GM, you will act as a key driver to improve productivity and quality, moving beyond high-level strategy to direct Gemba implementation. Responsibilities Establish the two pillars of TPS (Just-in-Time and Jidoka) within operations. Directly engage with sites to identify inefficiencies and lead Kaizen initiatives. Establish Floor Management Development Systems (FMDS) to monitor facility performance. Lead project timelines from research to execution, ranging from several months to one year. Ensure quality key points are integrated into Standardized Work and communicated effectively. Establish training programs, including Training Dojos and versatility matrices. Travel 0% to 75% to project sites as required. Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Working Location Plano, TX or Georgetown, KY Salary / Benefit $100K - $125K + Bonus (DOE) Qualifications 10+ years of management experience in automotive or logistics environments. Deep understanding of TPS principles and PDCA methodology. Ideal candidates are alumni/OBs from Toyota or related companies.
