Social Media Coordinator

Inca Brands — Sewickley, PA Part-Time | Hybrid | Starting at 15 hours/week | $20/hour An Opportunity to Help Shape Two Growing Brands Inca Brands is seeking a creative, organized Social Media Coordinator to help grow the social presence of two distinctive e-commerce brands: Sun Valley Alpaca Co. and Warrior Alpaca Socks . This is a hands-on creative position with an opportunity to have a meaningful role in how the brands are presented online. The ideal candidate understands social media beyond simply posting content—someone who follows trends, recognizes compelling content, has strong visual instincts, and enjoys developing ideas that encourage engagement and sales. The position is part-time and hybrid, combining remote work with time at the Inca Brands office in Sewickley, PA. Hours begin at approximately 15 per week, with potential for the position to grow as the brands’ social presence expands. About the Brands Sun Valley Alpaca Co. specializes in premium alpaca sweaters, scarves, blankets, and home goods, with a focus on natural luxury, comfort, quality, and timeless style. Warrior Alpaca Socks offers high-performance alpaca socks designed for outdoor activities, work, travel, golf, pickleball, and everyday comfort. The two brands have distinctly different personalities, products, and audiences, creating an opportunity for a candidate with a strong sense of brand voice and a wide range of creative interests. Responsibilities Develop and maintain social-media content calendars for both brands Create engaging posts, stories, reels, and short-form video content Write captions and copy appropriate to each brand’s individual voice Photograph and/or video products, behind-the-scenes content, events, and other social content Develop creative content around new products, promotions, seasonal collections, and campaigns Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest Monitor comments and messages and help build an engaged online community Follow social-media trends and identify opportunities for new content and formats Review basic performance metrics and recommend ideas based on results Collaborate with the Inca Brands team on marketing initiatives and product launches Qualifications Experience creating or managing social-media content, professionally or personally Strong writing skills and a good eye for photography, video, and visual presentation Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and short-form video Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, and CapCut Creative thinker with the ability to generate original content ideas Self-motivated, organized, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and with a team Strong communication and collaboration skills Interest in fashion, lifestyle, outdoor recreation, retail, or e-commerce is a plus Ability to work a hybrid schedule, including some in-person hours in Sewickley, PA Professional social-media experience is valuable but demonstrated creativity and a strong portfolio can be equally important. Experience managing a personal account, small-business account, organization, or other social platform is welcome.
