About the Role

The Company is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics and Pediatrician-in-Chief. This permanent, full-time position is pivotal in shaping the future of one of the nation's leading pediatric programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic, operational, clinical, academic, and scientific leadership for the Department of Pediatrics, with a focus on advancing clinical excellence, academic distinction, research innovation, and educational excellence. The role involves close collaboration with executive leadership and leading a large and diverse faculty to strengthen the company's position as the pediatric provider of choice in the region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in problem-solving, leadership in clinical care, research, and/or administration, and strong clinical expertise in pediatrics. Candidates for this role at the company should hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD with board certification in a pediatric medical specialty, be eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio, and be eligible for the rank of Professor. The position requires a leader who can drive growth, quality, access, and innovation across the enterprise, and who is committed to the development of the next generation of pediatric clinicians, physician-scientists, educators, and healthcare leaders.
