A regional 300-bed medical center is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Operations Manager to support pharmacy leadership in an inpatient setting. Reporting directly to the Director of Pharmacy, this role offers a vital opportunity to oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient service delivery. This position is based in Oxnard, CA, with a focus on supporting high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Pharmacy by serving as their right-hand in managing daily pharmacy operations.
• Oversee employee scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage across shifts.
• Address operational issues promptly and collaboratively to maintain workflow and patient safety.
• Utilize Cerner IT systems to support pharmacy processes and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to streamline pharmacy services in the inpatient setting.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proven experience in pharmacy management, preferably within a hospital or inpatient environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage staff scheduling and resolve operational challenges.
• Proficiency with Cerner or similar healthcare IT systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with hospital regulatory standards and pharmacy compliance.
